AWOL

Hello hello! It's been a very long time indeed since I've done a post on here. I just revamped my blog a bit now too. I just haven't really felt like I had anything to post or update about anyway, which is odd because I almost always feel the need to blog. So now, I'll give you a bit of an update. Life lately is just great too! I started a new (second) job, at the local RSL and just have been doing a few nights there a week when I can, and I really do enjoy it. It's something  different, and I like a good change. Especially after being a check-out chick for almost 2 years, it's most definitely not something I want to be doing for very much longer. Turns out we're not leaving town anymore, for the time being anyway. But doesn't mean I don't want to move out of home still, because I do. I need to branch out away from my parents, and I would save so much on fuel too if I moved in town, just by walking pretty much everywhere!

Today I took my friend to the airport so he could fly to Tasmania. Two weeks he is away.. I'm jealous, I want to go there one day. So me going to the city meant I got to do some shopping, and I managed to score yet more bargains at my all-time favourite clothes store, Sportsgirl. Denim shorts and a mint-green tee (both on sale). I really like mint-green.

Soon, Parklife. And then, October - Paramore! And I just found out today that Relient K are supporting them on the tour, I really don't mind at all that they're one of the support acts because I really wouldn't mind seeing them as well. I have all the accommodation booked, have the flights all set and the concert tickets are hanging up on my wall for safekeeping.

I've heard Inception is really good and makes your brain almost hurt from all the thinking that you do! Hah, well yeah, I really want to see it. And apparently Tomorrow When The War Began is a good book series, and the movie seems to carry on the goodness. I want to read the books though before I see it. But I don't see it happening, I always end up seeing the movie first to anything, a really bad habit.

Anywho, I'm super sleepy after a big day of driving and not entirely a lot of sleep to help, I'm going to hit the hay. Enjoy the rest of your week!
xx

  1. Yes Inception is as good as they say! such a spin out!! I love those type of movies though that really make you think.

Oh I am craving a veggie patch, I can't wait to have a little garden, but saturday mornings at my local community garden have helped with that urge and have also taught me so much about gardening that I never would have learned!
