It's Thursday

Just a few images of some awesome bicycles.. including the badass doing the wheelie.

Anywho, so I have diagnosed myself with Google. I have heartburn and it sucks. Also, I found my teeth retainer.. so my teeth ache because I haven't worn them in months. I really like the feeling I get when I have a nice clean room - currently it's in the complete opposite state.. but I'm feeling motivated to clean my room and even lead a more healthy life. This heartburn must be a wake up call for me to make some changes. Things were swell, then not so swell, then good again but then quickly not so good again.. but now I'm glad to say that things are better than ever!
An old friend is planning on visiting me in a few weeks or so, and I haven't had anyone of my old friends come down to my current location as of yet, so I'm pretty stoked for her to be coming.. she's one of my good friends. So many crazy, fun, entertaining and cherished memories with her.
My plans for now are to save, save, save! For all that I want to do in the near future which requires a bit of money. Had my first lesson of driving with the instructor yesterday morning. Wasn't as nervous as I thought I'd be. She's heaps cool though, taught me a lot. More than I knew.
I'm just feeling really good now, feel as though this is the start of something new, starting afresh. Feel new and rejuvenated, despite my current state being a bit sick.. it's all good.

There's no place like home

I'd go as far to say that Soundwave was MUCH better than Big Day Out for me. It wasn't as hot, I saw more bands, didn't have an all-day throbbing headache and I didn't profusely sweat. Also was MUCH better in regards to food diversity (wood-fired pepperoni pizza, yes please!). So basically I really enjoyed myself. I just wish I could've had a camera to capture the bliss of the fab festival, or even possess a decent camera phone at least. All in all, live music is the best. I think it's safe to say that, for me and Bron, Paramore was the highlight. Hayley Williams is a-MAZING.

Show me your teeth

I want this for my lounge room.

I really really really really really really really REALLY wish I had a camera :( Then I would take photos of my awesomely done job at making chocolate spiders, they are delicious! Anyway; Admittedly, I'm kinda jealous of my sister going to go see Lady Gaga in concert in March. I think she would be amazing live, seeing as she IS an entertainer. Been taking some photos on mother's old Yashica camera, looking forward to see how they turn out.. even if the photos are just average, I'm just stoked to get my own first roll of film developed.
I think things are starting to fall into place.. or at least feeling like they are. I saw Coco Avant Chanel on the weekend. It was good, but I was definitely not in the right mood to be watching a movie. It just made me tired and I couldn't concentrate due to having a lot on my mind - having a fairly crazy night on Friday the 12th.. all is good and sorted now though.
I feel pretty happy with how 2010 is treating me to be honest. Made new friends. Tried something new. Views on life have changed.. all pretty optimistic too. I also decided that I won't be moving to Brisbane anymore. I would rather save up money here and travel later on. Well that's all I feel like updating for now. I can't wait for the rest of this week! Ciao.

Today today

So I have come to realise that I tend to blog on odd-numbered days. Anywho, this week is good for me. I'm not rostered on to work for it AT all, unless I get called in. Which I'm hoping I do in a way, because otherwise I'll have to wait 2 more weeks until my next pay, and I really need to be saving. Thursday, is when we leave to road trip it to Brisbane, for Soundwave on Saturday. I'm pretty stoked for that, especially for Paramore, Escape The Fate, Placebo, HIM and A Day To Remember. This will be my second festival I've ever been to, being only one month from my first (Big Day Out). Also I have decided that I am going to sight-see Melbourne sometime this year, aiming for August, but we'll see how it goes. I do love my days off. But this just doesn't work with being casual, but I am not keen on becoming part time or full time just yet, with my current job either. My books have arrived and I had a look through Andy Warhol's Screen Tests and it looks fab, and currently reading Stargirl which is great.

Exercise makes you feel great inside and out! I have forgotten how it does so.. as I haven't done any proper exercise in, aaaages. I can't wait to find the perfect little vintage bicycle and ride it around everywhere. Another thing I cannot wait for, is winter! My favourite season. Winter baby Samuel Whiskers, be I. I want some orchids. And a neat bookcase. And lots of money. Not asking for too much.

I bid you farewell. Dinner is ready - apricot chicken! My love.

IMBOYCRAZY

"when you’re at a concert and you’re worried cuz your friend is acting weird and you think she’s mad at you cuz she’s being passive aggressive- THEN the show starts and you get all in your head wondering if people are watching you tapping to the beat with your heel/foot and thinking it looks dumb, or you are way too conscious about your facial expressions as you listen to the music, cuz you think people are judging you and ultimately making fun of you: just remember that you and everyone in that room is gonna die. So get the fuck over it and smile…. while you can."

Man I love IMBOYCRAZY.com 's blogs for Blind Leading the Blind. Very honest and funny factors.

Oh, and this one too:
"you can’t go wrong giving a girl a classic lambskin Chanel purse with gold hardware."

And this one..
"stop saying fuck so much. Especially in public. Let’s face it, it makes you look like a sloppy derelict!"
