I'll sleep when I'm dead

i wish i could sleep
without wasting time

Peachy Keen

Dreaming of whimsical, mundane things. Peach coloured nails, air drying hair in the sun, morning coffee, ironing fresh, clean linen, cooking breakfast.. simply, admirably mundane things.

I'm alive

Went to the beach today with my friend and took some photos. Winter in Townsville is my ideal summer, really. It's sunny and still gets warm during the day (not blazing hot, but probably warm enough to go for a swim) and is accompanied by cool nights. Then I go back home and it'll be pretty cold, it being the middle of winter and all... I can't wait!

Oh, and it's also eleven days till my birthday.. just saying. I can't wait also, for I have my driving test on the 5th, I'm pretty confident with my driving so I'm pretty stoked for it, but nervous at the same time. A lot of new things going to happen, I'll be turning the big one-eight, hopefully be getting my license (hello freedom!) and within the next few months we'll be moving towns. The news at first to me was a shock.. but didn't stay that way for long. I'm ready for a new change, I'm sick of my job and the town and a lot of the people in it (with an exception to a few select of them). I'm really in need of this. Meet new people, do new exciting things and find adventure. I'm going to save up and save some more, pay off my debts and make a new escape.
You could say I'm pretty stoked.

This has been a thing on my mind for a while now. Good vent. Now, have a good night! xx

The Mystery Machine

Remember; happiness is a way of travel, not a destination. -Roy Goodman

I really want to get a van and just travel. No destination necessary, just freedom and happiness. And to earn money along the way, we (we, as in, whoever wants to come with) shall sell things... not entirely sure what would be selling. Surely grand and lovely things though. The second and last image pretty much epitomizes just that for me.

Thank goodness it's Friday

I just want to kick it with tights; all day, every day. They're just so versatile and comfortable. I really love my new ski tights. I used to own a pair of warm ones when I was little, in vibrant orange. Thinking about being a youngin makes me want to watch old home videos. Ah such great memories..

Yum for my tum

I do love me some toast for breakfast.

PS. Surprisingly, I couldn't find a prettier picture for baked beans (I love baked beans on toast).
Don't laugh; beans are not only tasty, but beans are a healthy treat!

EDIT (18/06/2010)

Thank you anonymous for contributing this photo of a more appealing version of beans with toast.. it's making me hungry just looking at it!
Oh, and don't be shy to leave your name :)

Sweets for my sweet, sugar for my honey

Just a few of the albums I wouldn't mind having at hand right now.

EDIT (17/06/2010)

I forgot to mention I wanted this album also.
